Love never dies

This aire of finality,

So heavy on my heart,

These feelings of futility,

Such anguish, our being apart.

An end to longed-for tomorrows,

Farewell dreams; that are not to be,

Alas; a shell full of sorrows,

Weeping lonely tears, by the sea.

O; if this tale were different,

Devoid of the trickery of time,

Sadly nay; my spirit ebbs; spent,

The death knell; I welcome its chime.

Then on I will voyage; through eternity,

As I did; within your dear blue eyes,

How the vastness of space beckons me,

And I will wait for you; where

Love never dies.
